Don Melamed, a investment funds partner, joins Proskauer Rose from O’Melveny & Myers. Don advises asset managers and institutional investors in fund and investment management related matters with an emphasis on forming buy-out, mezzanine, distressed debt, real estate and venture capital funds and advising investment firms on the formation and operation of their asset management businesses including incentive arrangements, co-investment transactions and spin outs. He also focuses on representing institutional investors and family offices in connection with both primary and secondary transactions in a variety of vehicles and asset classes.
