Hwan Kim, formerly head of Patton Boggs’ Korea practice and head of the firm’s Renewable Energy practice, joins Sheppard Mullin. Hwan represents Korean and American multinational companies, hedge funds, and many life sciences companies conducting business in the United States and Korea. He handles corporate governance issues, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, joint ventures and crisis management. He was previously Assistant General Counsel for Samsung Group, General Counsel for Samsung Chemical Group and Chief Legal Counsel for Samsung Olympic Task Force Team.
