Zimmerman, a chairman emeritus of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, has focused his practice on advising Fortune 500 companies setting up operations in China. The Beijing office opens doors for Sheppard’s California attorneys representing local investment funds that want to do business in China, and established Chinese companies looking for a presence in the region.
