Cindy Lovering has joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the global finance practice in California. Cindy works with lenders in fund finance transactions and advises on venture capital and middle-market financing transactions in the technology and life sciences space. Her addition is the latest in Sidley’s expansion efforts in the emerging companies and venture capital space. “Cindy’s extensive network will leverage our capabilities in providing legal solutions to clients on a global level,” said Sharon Flanagan, a member of the firm’s Management and Executive Committees and managing partner of Sidley’s San Francisco office. Cindy was previously at Cooley, where she joined in 2017 from DLA Piper.
